Privacy Policy
The Temple Beth Sholom Eric B. Jacobs Early Childhood Education Center Home & School Association (HSA) organizes this fundraiser, with Simply Plated by Sam as the product vendor. The website is intended for adults placing orders.
Information used for your order
We collect your name, email address, phone number, payment-method choice, products, designs, personalization, quantities, and prices. ECEC class and order notes are optional. Personalization may include another person's name. Please provide only information needed for your order, and do not include card numbers or bank details in notes.
We also keep an order reference, submission date, review and payment status, staff action records, and order email content and sending status. Families do not need accounts. Authorized staff use separate sign-in accounts.
This website does not collect payment credentials or process payments. HSA staff record payment status after payment is handled separately.
How information is used and shared
HSA uses this information to review orders, coordinate production and pickup, contact families, and track payments. Authorized staff can view and export order records.
- Simply Plated by Sam: HSA can share your name, email, products, designs, personalization, and quantities to fulfill your order. The vendor export does not include phone numbers, ECEC class, notes, prices, or payment status.
- Netlify: Provides website hosting, the order database, and staff sign-in services.
- Resend: Sends order-related emails and handles recipient addresses and message content. The application keeps message content, sending status, timestamps, and related delivery information.
Order emails use the fundraiser’s configured sender address. Replies go to tbshsa@tbsonline.org.
Browser storage and technical information
The order pages use browser session storage for your cart and draft contact details. The application clears the saved cart and draft details after successful submission. A printable order summary remains in that browser tab’s session storage so you can save or print a copy. Browser restore features may preserve unfinished drafts. Clearing browser data does not delete an order already submitted.
Staff sign-in uses cookies and local storage. Hosting and sign-in providers process technical request information to run their services. Some staff-page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Keeping and correcting information
HSA's operational retention period is 180 days after the fundraiser's final scheduled pickup date. Staff handle cleanup manually, including personal order records and HSA-held working exports, and coordinate other order-related copies. Non-identifying fundraising totals may be kept. Records needed to resolve an outstanding issue or meet an applicable recordkeeping obligation may be retained for that purpose.
Moving an order to Trash hides it from normal processing but retains it for recovery. Permanent cleanup is a separate step. Permanently deleting an order from the database does not automatically delete downloaded files, sent emails, vendor copies, provider logs, or backups. Those copies require separate handling and may remain under the relevant provider's or recipient's retention process.
To ask about your information or request a correction or deletion, contact Morgan Zimmer at tbshsa@tbsonline.org. Include your order reference if available. HSA will review the request, including any information already shared for production.
